An 11kW Nibe Air Source Heat Pump system has been recently installed and commissioned. The heat pump replaces a combi oil fired boiler that feeds radiators and also provides hot water.
The heat pump system consists of the outdoor unit, a 200L buffer vessel, a 200L hot water tank (specifically designed to work with heat pumps), an in-line electric boiler that will help to boost the water temperature on cold winter days and finally a weather compensated control unit that regulates the indoor temperature depending on the outside ambient temperature.
